LIVE Competition - Overview
The LIVE competition: Develop an Interactive Learning Experience is designed to challenge participants to create an interactive learning experience by leveraging emerging.

- Open to all students, educators, innovators, and researchers from learning institutions, corporate training agencies, and related industries, both local and international.
- Participants may join individually or in teams (maximum 5 members per team).
Participation Guide
- Complete the Online Registration
Begin by filling out the online registration form to express your interest in joining the LIVE competition.
- Submission Review by Organising Committee
All submissions will be reviewed by the Organising Committee.
- Payment for Confirmation
Once approved, participants are required to make the necessary payment to confirm their registration. Click here for fee details.
- Issuance of Confirmation Letter
Upon confirmation of payment, the team leader will be contacted and provided with an official letter confirming participation in the LIVE competition.
- Arrival and Registration at the Event Venue
Participants must register at Dewan Chanselor, Level 4, IMU University on Day 1 of iLRF2026 no later than 9:00 AM.
- Competition Briefing and Scenario Presentation
A formal briefing session and presentation of the competition scenario will take place immediately after the Opening Ceremony on Day 1 of iLRF 2026.
- Development Session
Participants will then proceed to their assigned rooms to develop their interactive learning content based on the given scenario. - Final Presentation and Prize Ceremony
All teams will present their outputs in the evening. The event will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony.
*The organiser reserves the right to amend or modify the competition rules and guidelines as deemed necessary.
Rules and regulations:
- Participation may be as an individual or in a group (maximum of five members per group)
- The deadline for registration is 10 August 2026.
- Each participant is allowed to register only one team.
- Only the first 10 teams will be selected to participate in the LIVE competition.
- The organiser reserves the right to reject the registration that do not fulfill the requirements of the competition.
- Each participation will receive a Certificate of Achievement as proof of participation.
- By submitting materials to the iLRF 2026 competitions, the organiser has the right to publish the submitted materials on our official website and social media platforms. This includes, but is not limited to photographs, videos, written content, and any other promotional materials you provide.
Judging Criteria:
- The evaluation will be made by experienced judges, selected by the organiser.
- Each submission will be judged based on the following criteria:
Innovation
• Does the project/product introduce innovative and creative methods for interactive learning?
Engagement
• How effectively does the project/product engage the audience?
Learning Effectiveness
• To what extent does the project/product facilitate significant learning outcomes?
Technical Proficiency
• How proficiently did the presenter utilise relevant technical tools and methods?
• How effectively was the project/product technically executed?
• What level of accuracy and attention to detail was demonstrated in technical aspects?
• How effectively was the project/product technically executed?
• What level of accuracy and attention to detail was demonstrated in technical aspects?
Optimal utilisation of Software
• How skillfully does the presenter utilise software tools to enhance the interactive learning experience?
Presentation
• How well-organised, clear, and engaging is the overall presentation of the project/product?
Q&A session
• How effectively does the presenter field questions, address concerns, and deepen understanding during the Q&A session?
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Any appeals will not be entertained.

Important Dates for LIVE Competition
- Registration and Payment Deadline: 10 August 2026
- LIVE competition briefing: 9 September 2026
- LIVE competition and Judging Phase: 9 September 2026
- Prize Ceremony: 9 September 2026
Cancelation Policy
- Any cancellation of registration must be made in writing to the Secretariat of IMU International Learning Resources Festival 2026 (iLRF2026)
- There will be a full refund of the registration fee for cancellation made by 11 May 2026
- There will be a 50% refund of the registration fee for cancellation made before 11 June 2026
- There will be no refund of the registration fee for cancellation made on 12 June 2026 and thereafter.
- The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or change the topic or trainer of the workshop if for whatever reasons beyond its control, the workshop cannot be held as scheduled, or the topics need to be altered.
